[PREM FARE GONE] Oneworld: JFK-Spain/Italy business from $2,250 r/t
I received an email from British Airways about a sale to Europe. Looking around a bit, it seems the cheapest business fares would be JFK to Spain or Italy, with r/t fares starting about $2,250. So, not spectacular, but not too bad ex-USA. These fares have a 28 day advance purchase and appear to be valid through mid May and then again starting in mid July. AARP should bring it closer to $2,000.

Search on Google flights for NYC-Rome/BCN/LIS etc, you will find 2200+ is a very common price for business rt

It is when ~$2250 RT direct fares pop up though. Oneworld currently has direct NYC-MAD, United has some for NYC-MXP/FCO, and so on.

Booked one of those United fares on LH/AC metal, LH EWR-MUC-FCO; AC FCO-YYZ-EWR.
Never flown the old LH a340-600 before so looking at getting that in before they hit the boneyard. Also going to take a look at the AC 787 for the first time.

Wow. Are you sure the olympics will be held there in 2063? 😉

This fare has come and gone for a couple years, but it's good to know when it's back - much better than the $5k from the west coast you'll see otherwise.

I don't believe the Olympics have ever been held at an airport.
It's obviously an easy hop from Milan to Paris. Can we get back OT?
